Elizabeth Wallace is now available to conduct Risk assessments and Psychological assessments at The Couch.

Elizabeth Wallace is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist with a Master of Clinical Psychology and membership of the Australian Psychological Society. In the family law and psycho-legal domain, she brings broad expertise in evaluating mental health, personality, cognitive functioning and parental risk across children, adolescents and adults. Liz conducts child-inclusive mediations, parenting and family assessments, and prepares court-ready reports to inform safe, child-centred schedules and recommendations.

With specialist experience in forensic risk assessment, Liz also assesses and treats youth and adult offenders—particularly those convicted of sexual or violent crimes. She has conducted pre-sentencing evaluations, comprehensive psychological assessments and risk analyses, and has provided expert reports to both the Children’s Court and the Family Court. She is available for psychological assessments and short form family reports. Elizabeth Wallace is aware that many reports can take months to be released to the parties and she understands the additional stress this has on family members due to family therapy. Elizabeth therefore offers a maximum of a 14 business days turnaround of the release of your reports once the interviews are complete.

The process involves:

A 2.5-hour clinical interview (can be conducted via video link, but ideally in person)

Standardised psychometric testing

A comprehensive written report with recommendations.

Fees (plus GST)

Psychological Risk Assessments – $4,500 per person

Psychosexual Assessments – $6000 per person

Ms Wallace also accepts Victorian Legal Aid (VLA)–funded Psychological Risk Assessments, subject to standard eligibility and approval processes.
