Psychological Sessions for Individuals, Couples, Families & Children
Psychology services is no longer about shock therapy, mental intuitions and an old man rocking in a chair blaming your relationship with your mother for all your issues. Our Melbourne Psychologist’s aim is about helping clients of all ages and backgrounds develop strategies to reduce stress and chaos in their lives.
Treating a range of mental health problems can be easily achieved in the short term, it does not need to take years. It can also address simple issues such as communication difficulties, problems in dealing with anger and rage, fears and anxieties. In more complicated cases psychology can help clients with issues such as depression, grief and loss and abuse whether this be sexual, physical, mental or emotional.
Psychological Session Fees
Psychologist sessions are $200 for individuals for 50 minutes and $300 for couples or sessions with 2 attending for 50 minutes. We are not a bulk billing practice, however many clients who present for Psychological services are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan. This is issued by your Doctor and means you will be eligible for a rebate from Medicare. You pay the full fees to us on the day of your appointment, and then we process your claim to Medicare for your rebate to be returned into the bank account you have set up with them. Under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan you are entitled to this rebate for up to 20 psychological sessions per calendar year. Some private health fund rebates may be available from your health fund. We accept NDIS clients and Workcover Cases
